Individual Therapy
Individual Therapy can help you get back on track when you feel day-to-day life has become hard to navigate on your own. Therapy can help you to have a life reset so that you look after your most important commodity – yourself. In a busy world, this can be neglected.
Some common issues Hazel Tree Therapy can help you with are: anxiety, depression, family issues, grief and loss, trauma, identity, self esteem, parenting, relationship breakdown, retirement and life transitions.
Prior to the session, a phone assessment will be conducted to gather the information that is needed for therapy to commence and answer any questions you may have. This should take approximately 15 minutes.
Couple Therapy
Couple Therapy can transform your relationship. It may feel daunting to try something new, but with a therapist you will be supported through the process to become more connected in your relationship and overcome obstacles that arise in your relationship.
Some common issues Hazel Tree Therapy can help you with are: relationship breakdown, separation and divorce, grief and loss, pregnancy and parenting, getting married, infidelity, empty nest and blended families, reconnecting in your relationship.
With Imago Therapy you will learn how to have conversations that create a deeper understanding of each other and feel closer.
Prior to the session, a phone assessment will be conducted with both partners separately to gather the information that is needed for therapy to commence and answer any questions either of your have. This should take approximately 15 minutes each.
Walk & Talk Therapy
Walk and Talk Therapy is counselling sessions held outside of the therapist’s practice. Currently these are offered at the Camden Bike Track.
The reason that Walk and Talk evolved is that some client’s often feel more relaxed in a less formal setting. Being relaxed enables them to open up more freely and engage in the therapeutic process. Along with therapy there is benefit of being in nature, fresh air and exercise.
Each session is tailored to the client’s needs including distance walked and pace of the walk. If bad weather prevails, the session can be held in the therapist’s room. Sessions run for one hour just like a normal session, at the end of the session the therapist will check in to see how you are feeling about this therapy. If you feel that that you would prefer being back in the room, future sessions can be held in the therapist’s room. It is very flexible to ensure that comfort is considered at all times.

Sessions are prepaid before the session, so all you need on the day, is a bottle of water, sensible shoes and a little bit of courage and optimism to try something new.
